We are A Cleaning Service. Two siblings, mum and a dad – Claudia, Alice, step mum Alison and dad, Nick. After Nick tirelessly developed the business for many years, in 2018 we opened our unit in Bristol. At first, we specialised in rug, carpet and upholstery cleaning. We have now expanded into new fields continually growing and we are excited to work with our clients moving forward. We are proud of what we have accomplished. Here is our story.

Growing up, we loved helping our stepmom Alison & our father, Nick, the founder of our business. It was never a chore. It was always fun. But we never dreamt of a career in cleaning. After finishing our studies, we began our professions in Bristol with Alice eventually helping to establish a beauty and aesthetics business in New Zealand. Part of us always missed what was once commonplace in our lives: the strengths of a family team, the creation of our own products, the rush from meeting tight deadlines, and most of all, making our customers happy. However, after years of dad running the business on his own, struggling to meet client demands as the business grew and never taking a proper break. We knew what we had to do.
The idea began to grow for a cleaning business of our own, a place for our dad, stepmom and his kids to come together and to bring modern concepts to our business. We had a mission to help dad and build a family business of our own. In 2018, with Alison and Claudia onboard full time, A cleaning Service opened in Clevedon, Bristol, with Alice joining shortly after. Nick was thrilled with the idea of working with his children. The company was called “A Cleaning Service” because we wanted the name to be simple and reflect what we do.

Today, our services are used by both domestic and commercial clients. We are members of the NCCA, Trustmark, BESA and many others.
Nothing can compare to the pleasure and pride we get every day from hearing so many compliments from our happy customers. We know we did the only right thing for us. We love what we do and look forward to every day. We know how important it is to listen to the demands and needs of our customers and then to meet and surpass their expectations.
