Firstly, our job is to work around you. We book in a free survey to establish your needs and confirm a booking as soon as is convenient for you. If you have an urgent enquiry, for example sickness, blood or urine, we do reserve appointments to try and get this treated, safe and sanitised as soon as possible for you.

For standard carpet cleaning enquiries, we can get booked up a few weeks in advance so if you have a particular time frame you would like to have your carpets cleaned, it is always best to contact us as soon as possible to avoid unavailability.

On average, it will take approximately 30 mins per room depending on the amount of furniture to be moved and how soiled the carpet is. Also, if there are any stains, then we would advise to leave extra time to allow for spot stain treatments.

When you book in, we will provide you with a specific time for when our technician will arrive. Our top tip is to always allow a little extra time in your schedule, so our technician has plenty of time to make sure we get the best results for you.

Our method depends on the type of clean required and the specific type of carpet to be cleaned. The two main methods we use are hot water extraction and encapsulation. These are two of the leading carpet cleaning methods so depending on what is required, we tend to choose one of these two methods. However, we are trained in all methods of carpet cleaning In order to obtain the best result for our clients.

Hot water extraction - This method uses a high powered and pressured machine and wand to clean the carpets. This is a great process, especially for heavily soiled areas or commercial spaces.

Encapsulation - This is a portable process that uses a low moisture, low noise system to clean and scrub the carpets. We love to use this method on most domestic carpets as it provides great results without using lots of water!

For example, wool carpets don’t respond well to excessive amounts of water. We ask where possible for fragile and valuable items to be moved to a safe area. Pre-vacuum where possible to remove some of the surface dirt, however we do always vacuum first as part of our process. We also advise for any small pieces of furniture to be removed from the rooms where possible to allow the area to be as clear as possible for the technician. Access to parking, water and an electrical point are also important for our technicians to be able to complete the job for you. One final top tip that is always helpful is to make a note of any areas of concern so you can point these areas out to the technician to make sure nothing is missed.

Where possible, it’s always helpful to remove any items of the floor, leave the rest to us!

Whilst we request that you remove any small items or furniture from the room before we arrive if you can, you are not required to remove any furniture beforehand. We can remove the items we need to and leave your property with all the furniture back in Its rightful place. With regards to really large pieces of furniture (for example, a wardrobe or large bed), we would advise that these items are left in their position. It Is not necessary to hoover your carpets before we arrive as in most cases our process involves hoovering the carpets. However, if you give your carpets a quick vacuum before we arrive it is helpful and appreciated to remove some of the surface dust.

Whilst we cannot guarantee to remove all stains, we are specialists in stain removal having been fully trained and certified using the latest equipment and products. We use different products and techniques depending on the drink stain to try and get the best results for you.

Whilst we cannot guarantee to remove all stains, we are specialists in stain removal having been fully trained and certified using the latest equipment and products. Some food stains are more challenging to remove than overs. For example, turmeric is a natural dye so food stains containing turmeric may be more challenging or time consuming, so it really depends on the type of food stain as well as how long the stain has been on the carpets. It is always best to call in the expert as soon as possible!

We are also members of the National Association of Crime Scene Cleaners so we are fully trained and insured to deal with trauma related stains including blood. We are very experienced cleaning and sanitising carpets with stains such as urine and sickness. Our top tip is to call in the professionals as soon as possible when a stain like this occurs and avoid putting any other household products or remedies on it as it can react and cause further damage making it more difficult to remove the stain.

Make up stains are very common for us and we are very experienced dealing with stains like this. We would recommend avoiding putting any household products or home remedies on stains like this as it can react with the make up product making it more difficult to remove the stain. Some make up stains can be more difficult to remove than others depending on the colour/ dye etc and type of carpet it has stained, so it is all about using the correct products and cleaning techniques to efficiently remove.

Yes they can. One of the services we provide an insecticide treatment for small pests including fleas, moths and beetles. The process is really straightforward and won’t take up too much of your time for us to visit your home and apply the treatment. Depending on the level of infestation, it may take a couple of attempts but the product we use is fantastic for killing the insects and eggs as well as being safe to use. If the infestation is too extreme however then we may advise that a better option would be fumigation and more specialist infestation treatments.

It all depends on the kind of odour in the carpet and how long the odour has occurred. We do have specialist products and processes for odour elimination and usually get fantastic results. In most cases the carpets are usually dry in 30 minutes to one hour however this does depend on the carpet cleaning procedure that is used.

In most cases, you can walk on the carpets almost immediately. However, we do advise to leave the carpets for around one hour to dry in order to let the carpets settle and dry naturally. If you do walk on the carpets whilst they are still slightly damp, just make sure you take extra care if you then walk on hard floor afterwards.

As we tend to us a low moisture system to clean your carpets in most cases, this means that you are safe to put furniture back on your carpet almost immediately. However, there are some exceptions! If you furniture has varnished wooden feet or brass feet, this can discolour the carpet as it can react with the moisture so it is best to wait until the carpet is completely dry before placing items like this directly back onto the carpets. As a top tip for the best results, we always suggest that with all furniture, it is always best to leave it a couple of hours to dry first before putting anything back on the carpet so it can completely dry out.

Definitely. In fact, we recommend that all of our customers get stain protection! The stain protection provides a barrier that stops stains fully penetrating into the fibres causing permanent stains and making it much easier to maintain. Stain protection is especially great for anyone with children, pets or expensive or natural fibred items/ carpets! Whilst stain protection isn’t a guarantee that the spillage or mark won’t leave a permanent stain, it definitely helps to minimise that risk for you.

This all depends on how busy we are at the time so if you are thinking of having your oven cleaned in a certain time frame, it is always best to call ahead and get a date booked in the diary. As we do get really busy (especially around Christmas time!), some of our customers can schedule their appointment far in advance so it is best to be organised! Yes. This is a great question. Whilst some ovens have a self-cleaning feature, it is still recommended that your oven receives a professional clean to ensure it is kept in a safe condition. We commonly clean self-cleaning ovens so this is no problem for us at all.

We may require using some stronger chemicals in certain circumstances, especially with commercial ovens, but we do our best to ensure these products do not enter the home.

This is an amazing product that is seaweed based and gets great results. It is the perfect product to keep your oven looking great in between professional cleans! Your oven should not be on when we arrive. We will need your oven to be cool in order to clean it so we would advise not using it at least a couple of hours before the clean. If you have an AGA, this must be switched off at least 24 hours before the clean to ensure it has had enough time to completely cool down. Please also make sure the area in front of your oven is clear so the technician has suitable access to the appliance.

The oven will need to be cool in order to clean it. It is therefore best that you do not use your oven at least a couple of hours beforehand to ensure the oven is cool enough. If you have an AGA, this must be switched off at least 24 hours before the clean to ensure it has had enough time to completely cool down.

Yes. With the racks, we most commonly will submerge them in our custom built dip tanks in the van to remove any built up grease on them. They will then be rinsed off and wiped down before being placed back into your shiny, clean oven!

We will clean all the removable items that come as standard with the oven. Some trays will have non-stick coatings on them which means we may be unable to clean them. Please speak with the technician on the day of the clean for more information on the trays.

Yes. We are very experienced dealing with removing even the most stubborn grease. Whilst we cannot guarantee that all grease can be fully removed, we have always achieved excellent results and have hundreds of happy customers!

Yes we definitely can. As part of our process, we will dismantle the oven door removing all the glass panels and ensuring each side gets a thorough clean to remove any stains between the panels. If for any reason we are unable to dismantle the door, you will be notified of this during the clean.

Most of the time odours coming from the oven are caused from burnt grease or food that has not been fully removed. Once this has all been removed and professionally cleaned, in most cases this will fully remove the odours coming from your oven.

Yes we can. Simply let us know your oven's make and model number before your oven clean and the items that require replacing and we can order these in and replace for you during the clean. Our technician does also carry spare lightbulbs in the van so don’t worry if you haven't informed us in advance as we still may be able to help! *Please note, this may provide additional charges. Your technician will inform you of the additional cost before replacing any item in your oven to get your approval first.

Most of the time, the oven can be faulty or not heat up correctly due to a build-up in grease. Most of the time, a professional clean can solve the problem allowing your oven to function correctly again. However, this is not guaranteed. Furthermore, we are unable to fix any fault with the oven other than carrying out our cleaning process. If you require an oven engineer, please get in touch as we may be able to recommend someone local to you to help. Please ensure you use a licenced gas-safe / electrical engineer before getting any gas / electrical work carried out on your oven.

You are safe to use your oven straight away. Before the technician leaves, they will ensure the oven is running correctly. We would advise to follow the cooking instructions remembering to preheat the oven before placing food in your oven for safety reasons.

We recommend cleaning your oven trays after every use. With regards to the inside of your oven, this can really depend on what you were cooking. Most of the time, your oven will not require a light clean after every use however if you are cooking something like a roast where there are lots of oils and fats, then it is definitely a good idea to give your oven a wipe over once the oven has cooled to remove any grease. Similarly, if you have any spillages in your oven (maybe a casserole has bubbled over or a cake has risen too much), it is always best to wipe it up as much as possible afterwards and then call us if you require any further assistance with fully removing the spillage so it doesn’t continue to burn and smoke when you cook again.
