Make a plan.

The first step to successful spring cleaning is to make a plan. It might seem obvious, but creating a checklist of all the areas you want to clean and the tasks you need to complete will help you stay organised and ensure that you don't forget anything, as well as giving you a satisfied feeling when you tick off a task. It's also a good idea to set a timeframe for each task, so you can stay on track.

Declutter first.

Before you start cleaning, take some time to declutter your home. Go through your closets, drawers, and other storage areas and get rid of or donate anything to friends, family, or charity you no longer need or want. This will not only make cleaning easier, but it will also make your home feel more spacious and organised.

Clean from top to bottom.

When it comes to cleaning, always start at the top and work your way down. This means dusting ceiling fans, light fixtures, and the tops of cabinets before moving on to lower surfaces. This will prevent dust and dirt from falling on already cleaned areas and ruing your hard work!

Use the right tools.

Make sure you have the right tools for the job. This includes a vacuum cleaner with attachments for cleaning upholstery and hard-to-reach areas, a mop or steam cleaner for floors, and a range of cleaning products for different surfaces. Finish with the bathroom

Last but not least, give your bathroom a thorough clean. Clean the toilet, sink, shower, and bathtub, and replace any old or worn-out towels and bathmats. Again, remember to consider using a natural cleaning product to avoid harsh chemicals in this sensitive area.
